Report written by Bath runner
A healthy 16 came along to have some fun in Bath on a 5k run to help clean all the toys and play equipment at Oldfield Baptist community toddler group with a spot of Flyering on route.
Welcome to Alex, Hannah and Kerri
who came along to see what all the fuss is about, I do hope they enjoyed her first outing with the team in Bath. Kerri has defected from GG Chelmsford..our gain!!
Shout out!! to Pascale who represented the race team at The Eden project Marathon..Whoop!!
A slightly injured trainer tonight, so Steph covered the back and Super Sam kindly led the group out with agreed fixed regrouping points and some strength training on route.
Liz is always excited to see Goodgym Bath
I can understand why though, it normally takes her 2 days to get through all that cleaning and we rock up with happy faces and smash it out in 30 minutes. We get to help out another great place.
A Win Win Situation
Liz soon had everyone organised emptying, sorting and clean everything inside the plastic storage boxes including the box itself.
I caught Alex playing the keyboard and Joe and Ollie trying on the hats, whilst Claire and Lucy were tinkering with the musical instruments. Katey was organised getting the basics ready for the group to start cleaning and she cleaned the mini kitchen. We cleaned everything required in 30 minutes and had time for that ever important group Boomerang and photo before bidding Liz fair well.
Sam led the group back in TRUE LEADER style Emma took charge at the back.
I would like to thank superman Sam for helping a leader is distress and showing true leadership and amazing connection with the group
Sam Superman
So lovely to see and hear everyone enjoying themselves getting fit whilst doing good in the community.
Three Cheers everyone
