My first social visit to Mrs F, who rarely has visitors.

We quickly found we had both studied French, and Mrs F amazed me by still being able to quote 18th Century French poetry from her university days 80 years ago!

We shared memories of visits to France and Mrs F enjoyed finding the places we discussed on her atlas, to remind her of happy holidays.
