Abby and I joined the many regulars at RWL to complete the timed 5K course along the waterfront.
And then a cooling drink & brunch before heading off to our Sunday activities.

Dave and I went to help out the lovely Mrs P trim her shrubs to keep them neat while she is unable to. It was pretty quick work as they were well maintained!
A couple ladder ascents and some long arms and we managed to get the top looking lovely and neat. And as a bonus we got to take in the lovely jasmine scent in the late afternoon sunshine. Mrs P was very happy!

A tidy garden contributes to Mrs P’s sense of pride in her home and surroundings and knowing the hedge will be managed relieves anxiety about tasks she can no longer do herself.
