There was plenty to celebrate this morning as we helped out again at Saltwell junior parkrun in Gateshead.

There were seven of us this morning on an absolutely beautiful day (blue sky and the sun was shining). I was joined by Louise, Anji, Paul, Aimee, Tanya and Debbie.

A huge congratulations to Tanya on reaching 50 GoodGym good deeds!! Tanya was rewarded with wearing the GG Newcastle cloak of good deeds. Such a brilliant achievement so please give Tanya a cheer!

It was a great team effort this morning. Louise was on barcode scanning and Anji, Paul and Aimee were marshalling/cheering. Debbie and Tanya were tail walking and I was volunteer co-ordinator and handing out finish tokens. There really is something for everyone to get involved with.

Well done to Louise, Tanya and Debbie who got very involved and enthusiastic with the warm up at the beginning (see the photo!)

Afterwards myself, Tanya and Debbie headed to Saltwell Towers for an enjoyable catch up over coffee and bacon sandwiches.
