Mrs D has reduced mobility and is unable to do much in her garden at the moment. As a result, it's become slightly overgrown and she's unable to sit out it in. GoodGym were asked to help out so that Mrs D (and her cat!) may enjoy her garden once more.

Consequently, Anne and I met up earlier today to make a start on Mrs D's garden. As there seemed like a lot to do, we asked which parts we should prioritise. Mrs D's son (who also has come mobility issues) asked us to concentrate on clearing the paths around the garden to afford Mrs D the greatest use of her garden.

90-ish minutes of hard graft followed (partially fueled by malteasers that were kindly provided by Mrs D). The passed quickly though: Anne and I had lots to catch up on from the last time we'd met, and there was talk of both overly tall trees and "Romanian" eggs. All good stuff. I forgot to amaze and astound Anne by showing pictures of my cat, so, Anne, please enjoy the attached photos of my cat from earlier today (he was slightly confused and annoyed at being woken up early).

Having made some inroads into the path, we cleared up the area and took some pictures before taking our leave of Mrs D. Hopefully some more GoodGymmers will be able to return and continue what we started today 😊
