A jog down to Ms A's was what was needed to dust away the cobwebs from a few more days of quarantine at home. After a cheery greeting I was on my way to the shops to buy some essentials for Ms A. As a Saturday afternoon, perhaps I should have known how busy the supermarket would have been but it felt more difficult than usual to maintain a good social distance; I resorted to putting the mask on just in case! After managing to find all items on the list except a delicious-sounding apple frangipane tart which eluded me, I bagged everything up and dropped it off back at the house, ready for my run back home.
