As a second act of tonight's double task, the double G Ealing member weeded a double bed - flowerbed, that is!

I stayed at Mr G's after my shopping mission to relieve some of his stresses by tending to his overgrown front garden. The weeds were easy to pull out by hand, but there was an entire army of them! Mr G said he would have done that on his own but bending his back was too painful.

While I fought the enemy at the front garden gate, Mr G had a very productive time upstairs, holding intense phone calls with a bank helpdesk and B&Q customer service, and trimming his hair. He came downstairs for a double inspection - I was to review his new haircut and shirt before his video call tonight, and he examined my gardening exploits.

"Not good enough." joked Mr G but later added he was really pleased that I could do everything: shopping, gardening, problem-solving while opening the puzzling nozzle of a weedkiller bottle.

I turned over the soil in the flowerbeds and sprinkled it with the weedkiller. When Mr G asked if I could lift the bags with the garden waste and put them into the bin, I said it had been done.
