8 GG Yorkies battled through the wind and heavy rain to assist Jenny with clearing the pump track surface and drainage channels.

No maintenance had been carried out on the pump tracks meaning the surface had become slippery with old leaf mulch and the drainage channels were blocked.

We celebrated Cara's 50th good deed by encouraging (forcing) her to wear the cape in the wet and rain. She wasn't convinced that it would giver her super powers to avoid the rain...

Ed and Max jumped at the chance to use the leaf blowers to clear the mulch, although Max’s only last around 10 minutes before the battery died!

Bab’s, Cara and Leanne grabbed the loppers to cut back overhanging branches and the two Amy’s began raking the path. There was fantastic litter picking by Ed and Leanne was great at standing around and chatting...

Any Tew had never heard of the term pump track before, and said she’s always called it the “wheely field”. We're not sure about that one...

We all rushed home to get warm and dry, including Feargal dog who was pathetically shivering towards the end...
