A Few Goodgym Members came together to help support cycling and the Cycle Lane support day at East Finchley. We also looked to do a little litter picking in Gleblands, an open space behind the Lido leisure centre in Barnet. We gathered at the Coffee bank (cafe) where we robbed them of some delicious cake and coffee. Thank you Sandra for her discount on food and drink for all cyclist that braved the rain on the 19th. ( also to the Phoenix cinema , the old white Lion and Cherry tree cafe sorry we didn’t make it to you) We cycled to Gleblands and started litter picking in pairs. (Welcome to Charlotte on her first community mission) So much litter! In particular the plastic McDonald’s sauce containers a nightmare to pick up! After about 40 minutes we headed back down the cycle lane for a social at the Bald faced stag. Thanks to Louise (manager) for her generous support. Great food and company. Thanks for coming and doing some good!
