Tonight's task was to help paint a corridor at Brockhill, a community housing project in Goldsworth Park Woking. Brockhill meets the needs of frail and vulnerable in Woking.

After meeting at the usual place we headed off on the 3km run to our task Barbara new a scenic route there following the Basingstoke Canal. So headtorches on we set off. On the way we heard story's of George and Barbaras trip to Newcastle to run in the Parkrun up there but it was cancelled due to snow. Their aim is to run a parkrun in a different town or city beginning with a different letter of the alphabet!

Once we arrived we were met by Julie who had organised all the paints, brushes and rollers, and set about our task. 30 mins of hard work and we were done. One corridor completed with its first coat, and we will be returning next week to complete it.

On the run back we heard how Rob had competed in the Brutal 16km over the festive period and how Claud was Ill and this was the first exercise she had done in weeks. Awesome effort tonight guys and hoping more people will join us next week when we head back to Brockhill for some more painting.
