Two GG Yorkies ran to Mrs B's house to help her with her garden.

On arrival we were asked to 'get rid of everything' which included chopping back rose bushes, a peony an a whole lot of laurel. Within 90 minutes we had cleared six big bin bags of garden waste.

Mrs B was delighted with the results:

It's like all my Christmases have come at once!

We left after a brief chat, but not before we'd both got a hug, because nobody leaves Mrs B's house without a hug!

In our evaluation, 86% of members experienced improved mental wellbeing after attending ‘Not a Book Club’, 71% felt more confident and 71% less alone. We’re really keen that as many people as possible can benefit from our sessions in the Guildhall
