Report written by Kash
After helping with the setup of gazebos and the dog show at Brentford Festival, the GoodGymers took a short break, then got to setting up their own promotional stall, kindly provided by Linda, the festival manager.
Kash and Sevan reunited with Gus, who returned victorious from his escapade into the wilderness in Blondin Park. Gus volunteered to carry 12 litres of water in recycled milk bottles - the tried and trusted weights for the forfeit in the GoodGym Ealing's festival game. In the meantime, Kash put the finishing touches to the whiteboard explaining the game, while Sevan produced countless pieces of sellotape to hold together the stall's decoration. There is nothing that sellotape cannot fix, right?
The sunny festival day had a steady flow of visitors at the GoodGym stand and kept Sevan and Kash busy talking about the benefits of doing good while getting fit, handing out the leaflets and writing down our details for potential task owners. Fingers crossed we will soon see some new faces at the Ealing and Hounslow sessions!
