On a chilly (but fortunately dry) December Saturday, a group of GoodGym runners from across south London met to take part in a bold scientific (?) experiment (?).
The goal? To visit 7 city farms over the course of one run
Meeting at Vauxhall, and making our way through Vauxhall City Farm, Oasis Waterloo City Farm (unfortunately closed, so we peeked in!), Hackney City Farm, Spitalfields City Farm, Stepney City Farm, Mudchute City Farm, and finally wrapping up at Surrey Docks City Farm. It was lovely seeing some nice spaces where city dwellers can interact and volunteer with nature - I think GoodGym even got recognised from a previous group run!
It was a lovely run; gentle and chatty, and very welcome in the middle of Christmas party season. Shoutouts include Ian, Matthew and Anna for doing parkruns beforehand, Anna also for her longest training run yet, and Emma for most farm cats befriended.
Fancy chicken out the route?

Ewe want to get involved?
If you're interested in organising a training run like this, check in with your trainer or taskforce and they may be able to help you set one up!
