It's a Wednesday and we're off to Church
The weather was finally on our side for tonights task. We had a new task and location to look forward to for tonight. We were heading to All Saints Church to help decorate the Parish Hall.
It wouldn't be a Woking GoodGym evening without a treat from Barbara. Instead of Barbara's shortcut tonight we had Barbara's woodland route. It made a nice change to run in a different direction and check out some of other Woking's delights. We headed through the woodlands to eventually pop out at All Saints Church. We were greeted by one of the church wardens who instructed us on our task. Tonight involved sanding down the skirting boards and giving them a coat of paint. What a difference it made though. The worn out skirting boards had been given a new life. We also the joy of cutting the grass out the front and what an amazing job was done there.
Well Done to George on his Fox Ultra event last weekend
In other news we found out Helen travelled up to Snowdon last weekend and it sounded a lot of fun - trampolines in the cave and the zip wire. Veronica has been training hard and logging in her walks on to Strava, keep going!!
Next week we are planning on going to the allotment to help out, this may mean it will rain as this tends to happen when ever we booked in for the allotment. Just remember to get signed up for next weeks run.
