A return visit to Mr M in Southmead who I’d last helped two years ago and looking at the length of the grass in his garden, I wondered if it had been cut since.

Sadly, after faffing around with the strimmer twine for about quarter of an hour and failing dismally to get it to stay attached, I reluctantly moved to the small electric flymo which I knew wouldn’t be up to the task of getting the grass cut properly.

Seemingly accepting my apologies the machine tried its best and between us we did what we could in the time available - it was slow going and hard work and I think both the flymo and myself will enjoy a rest this evening! 😅
