Both of us were at the food coop for the first time. Working with other volunteers we unloaded a full van of pies, fresh fruit, veg and boxes and boxes of crisps. We got the new stock on the shelves, rearranged old stock and prepared the shop for tomorrow.
This task supported
The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
