Feel free to take a moment to appreciate the undeniable quality of this week's pun... Props to Hannah for this one!

Unfortunately it was true, this week's task was cancelled due to icy conditions in the Water Tower (which I guess you'd expect in these bitter conditions) but Ignition Brewery saved the day by growing some weeds for us to pull out!

We had 5 well-wrapped up GoodGymers this evening (including Clare who hasn't been for a wee while - nice to meet you!), taking a light stroll to Sydenham via some icy streets. When we arrived, the area was well lit up and Ignition's little 'garden' space was looking a little under the weather, although shrubs we'd planted in the Spring seemed to be doing pretty well!

To weed, or not to weed. That is the question...

By this point in our GoodGym careers, I thought we were all experts in weed detection... But the weeds had a wintery spell on them and didn't look quite themselves which made sussing out the bad from the good a bit of a challenge. Through general consensus and comparison we pulled out some plants... hopefully the weeds...

Shout out to Ian for bringing his garden shed with him. Without his tools, this would have been a much harder task!

Ignition plans on hosting markets and even an outdoor cinema in the 'garden', so our weeding will help to keep the space pleasant for visitors!

We all walked back to base and tucked into some nachos, soup and a multitude of beverages.
