Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

Busy Saturday afternoon at the Richard Benson Hall with the clean, sort out and restock GG Hero's!
A relatively quiet first hour allowed Zoe and Rachel to crack on with re-stocking the shelves while Morgan and I took to the kitchen, cleaning down the fridges and starting to wade through the sea of bread-based items overtaking the kitchen (a job very much 'middle and ended' by Zoe!) - there was also plenty of GF bread which was a welcome addition to our Free from section in the main hall, stacked up by Morgan.
3 EPs arrived and were taken one each by each of the fab team. Lots and lots of breaded items and fresh meals and veggies were packed to go.
Between Rachel and Morgan, the floors were swept and mopped, and the bins were changed.... Including some interesting efforts to get all the bin bags to fit in the main bin; all I can say is, the agility was impressive and the commitment, respectable!
Owing to the previous week's experience of no bread, Zoe carefully packed freezers with lots of lovely sliced bread.....and just as we joked about hoping lots of new meals didn't turn up any time soon, a vanful did exactly that!
It was nearly time to go, but with some dreamy teamwork and everyone staying a little later than planned (thank you; you the best!) we turfed out lots of the bread and freezer-ed up some space. I think we must have proceeded to stack almost every freezer and fridge full of the meals, trying to maintain some sort of order for the next lot!
Lots of extra meals were added to the EPs, which should go down a treat (they looked lovely!) and we certainly won't be short on meals for the next few days!
Just about remembered to take some pictures; have you ever seen so much concentration in someone's eye's trying to take a selfie?! Lovely smiling eyes from everyone else!
Certainly did GG Oxford proud on its 2nd birthday! Have a restful weekend team, and see you soon!
