Friday morning saw Amy, Ana and I meeting up on a Stockwell estate; mission in hand: dismantle and remove Mr F's old bed to make room for a hospital one and enable his discharge home.

A simple enough job, which we cracked out in less than 15 minutes but one that was made so much more entertaining by a large macaw presiding over our work. The splendid bird almost perfectly mimicked his owner, even down to voice pitch, whereby Ana and I initially thought that a man was in the house with us.

Having transported the bed frame and mattress to the estate's recycling point, we bade our farewell to both daughter and pet bird before heading off to coach visit (nice one Ana), home (Amy) and work (sadly me).
