Report written by Michael Kidd
On a sunny Friday morning, Ana and I met in the leafy suburbs of Streatham Hill on a short-notice gardening mission for Ms B. Upon arrival, we were dispatched to her mercifully compact garden (I've tackled some monster pitches lately) for an HIIT mowing and weeding session.
Ana was straight on the landscaping, being the more artistic, whilst I gave the lawn its monthly haircut and we both raked up the ubiquitous leaf fall, a common feature of nearly every outdoor Mission this time of the year. I was on photo detail throughout and Ms B's nephew and I agreed that Ana was more a poster girl than me!
The hour flew by and a pretty rapid but thorough job was completed. After tidying away the tools and full refuse bags, we left Ms B apparently most content with our handiwork.
