Three Goodgym Runners gathered at the Phoenix cinema to help distribute flyers to encourage more people to visit this superb example of a purpose-built picture house from the 1930s. It is one of the oldest cinemas in the country. We warmed up then Kirsten let us through cherry tree woods to deliver leaflets to the houses near highgate woods. It’s always fascinating to run down the streets and see all these varied and beautiful houses. I even managed to deliver the film program to one of the band members from Oasis. Who knows you might see him next time you go to see a film at the Phoenix.
