DUO FORCES
Bath and Bristol came together on this cold morning for a 5k run to Bath City Farm for some manure manouvers up and down a steep field full of sheep, the task much more demanding than the run itself.
BORN SLIPPY
Emma really got to into this one, she slipped to her seat 3 times on the steep decent and tipped her load on one occasion and it's fair to say she was covered in shit by the end of the morning.. Well done!! Emma, if anyone deserved a double good deed it was you .
God Father Dave and Clo from Brizzle managed to stay safe using their wheel barrows as a breaking system, however Clo did appear to be rather dickered in something at the end.
A SHITTY JOB, but someone has to do it
Even Lady Bath didn't escape a workout today and opted to work the upper body and firmly plant her feet in the manure and fill the bags.
GOAT WARS
Some horn butting going on in the pygmy goat pen with the young one demonstrating a good side butt, in the other goat pen it was more like let's stand in our food trough
We devoted the last 10 minutes to lay some bark chips in the muddy gateway for health and safety reasons and managed to weave a rather cute hut... O.K !! so that buts a fib.
The troops enjoyed some chocolate coated orange marmalade biscuits to assist with the run back up RUSH HILL, not much of that going on today though but a well earned cuppa on our return.
A shitty pun from Dave and a classic tune it is ...HIP HIP!!
Bath City Farm was set up by the local community in the early 1990s, when the resident farmer retired. It gained charitable status in 1995. Over the past 17 years there has been considerable progress on site, including introducing our Soay sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and pigs, a pony and most recently a flock of guinea fowl

The Goat Wars summary in this report had me laughing like a drain. Must come along to the next weekend visit to this magical poo-ey goat haven. :)
