A Delightful Day of Double Deeds for the Dashing Duo of Dave and alexanDra!

First we started out with the final morning of mattress moving in St Paul's. Afterwards, we headed up to a cafe close to where our mission was going to be taking place, and had some food and drink as we waited for our mission to start.

At 11am, we met up with Mrs M, who called us up for some help weeding and clearing up dead plants in her garden. We happily grabbed her tools and got underway, when disaster struck! The handle to Mrs M's bedroom door broke, so she couldn't get in! David, in an amazing display of (sadly unphotographed) skill, climbed in through her bedroom window and was able to force the latch open so she could get in, after which we advised her to tape the latch up and keep the door open to be extra safe until she could get someone to replace it.

We then carried on with our work, clearing space in her garden beds and adding to her already impressive pile of garden refuse. As we did this we also enjoyed cups of tea and coffee and admiring Mrs M's delightful cats (also sadly unphotographed).

After clearing as much as we could, David and I said goodbye to Mrs M and headed our own separate ways. But although we were done for today, she was keen to see us again in the future.

Thanks for a great morning Alex and for sorting out this great report and for helping me up that hill, oh and for not taking a photo of me climbing through the window! 😂
