Post GG Sunday Community Mission No. 1, a great number of GGrs made their way to Alexandra Rd Garden, to have some more fun...

Shout out to GG newcomer Jen who joined us here for her first GG event :)

While waiting for Jane from the garden to arrive and brief the GG team, km Spreadsheet Steve led the GG volunteers to clock up the January kms in the smallest run loop I think we have seen in Sheffield :)

We split the group into a few teams - Jane was so happy to see so many GGrs on the scene:

  • Team Bulb Planting led by Bee and Katy

  • Team Garden Rotavators led by Sam and Tom H

  • Team Alexandra Road Garden litter pick led by Steve

  • Team Plog and Hill Reps Jog led by Andrew and Kat - with so many GGrs we thought we would also clear up the nearby streets

GGrs enjoyed lovely post community mission refreshments provided by Jane and the Alexandra Road Community Garden volunteers - Thank you.

Alexandra Road Community Garden is celebrating their 25th year,
and have invited GG Sheffield to join them this summer in their cheers.

I will advertise as a GG Party when the date (June TBC) is confirmed by Jane :)

Great work everyone - thank you.
