Too much fun to think of a pun...

10 GoodGymers met up in Riverside Valley Park this evening for a much needed litter-pick and an even more needed catch-up!
After a couple weeks break due to holidays and quarantines, it was the best thing ever to all get together again for a good deed! We also had the great pleasure of welcoming Kate to our group for the first time. We hope you enjoyed it and that we'll see you soon again!
The evening was warm and sunny and after a little safety briefing we divided ourselves into three groups to go litter-picking. We found a lot of interesting bits... golf balls, pushchair covers, picnic left-overs and whole lot of cider cans... In 40 minutes everyone had pretty much filled their bag. We even managed a little photo shoot walking the bin bags over to the bottle bins where we sorted them through so that all glass got recycled. You all looked fab!
After the litter-pick we sat down in the last bit of the evening sun for a socially distanced drink and catch-up. It was lovely to hear what everyone had been up to over the summer months and to make plans for the future for our group. I am so excited to see where the next few month will take us!
We had such a great evening we even forgot to think of a pun.... and you guys all know that you can't leave that job to me he he he..
Take a look here at what's coming up next and sign up for a session that suits you!
