Lovely to catch up with Fi and Charlene on a chilly but sunny Sunday morning. I was put to shame as Fi had run and Charlene had cycled from town out to Lawrence Weston, whereas I arrived on four wheels, where we were tasked with carrying out a third assault on Mr L's garden.

The previous two missions had seen some great clearance of the fence line, shed and middle part of the jungle-like garden, and Bristol City Council had requested a third visit to clear some more space for Mr L and had thankfully dropped some great tools into him for us to use.

All three of us immediately opted for some loppers and with clear instructions from Mr L to attack the top left corner of the back garden, we set about cutting back the unruly brambles and low lying branches of the trees that were preventing access to a large greenhouse and extremely tall conifers behind.

We said hello to a frog, fox and a rather sad looking one eared deer, enjoying a good natter whilst we snipped, packed and lopped over the next couple of hours (they were really good loppers!) until the space was clear and the greenhouse and conifers were once again accessible.

We said our goodbyes to Mr L and after a quick chat with his neighbour, who also seem pleased that we had visited again, we were on our way on two legs, two wheels or four!
