We had a lovely morning helping out at Saltwell junior parkrun in Saltwell Park. I was joined by Adam, Aimee, Debbie, Tanya and Michael.

Adam, Aimee and Michael were marshals and Tanya and Debbie were tail walkers, and I was Run Director. Everyone was absolutely brilliant and enthusiastic. It felt so good to be well supported.

We enjoyed a fun warm up beforehand. In total we had 67 finishers and 37 volunteers, which is impressive for a cold morning in January.

Afterwards (as Tanya mentioned) we really enjoyed a catch up, brews and bacon butties in the cafe. We talked (and laughed!) about so many different topics including sewing machines, triathlons, parkrun and sailing, whilst I sat and submitted the results.
