We toad-ally smashed it!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Alice Park community garden in Bath.

4 GoodGym runners made their way to Alice Park Community Garden for a gardening task. Over the lockdown period the regular volunteers have struggled to get to the park and do maintenance so there was lots to do!
Alison spent the evening sieving rocks and roots out of some soil so that it can be used as compost in the garden.
Mary and Emily cleared away a huge bag of bushes, branches and dead leaves from the back of the garden (and found a cute little toad in the process!). This is going to make way for a new shed at some stage.
I spend my evening digging, transporting and then spreading fresh compost onto the squashes at the front of the garden. The nutrients in the soil will help accelerate their growth.
To finish the evening off we presented Alison with her custom 200 good deeds t-shirt to thank her for all of her dedication and commitment to GoodGym. A fantastic achievement - well done!
We love helping out at Alice Park and special thanks to Kathy for hosting us for a very relaxing and mindful evening outside.
