πΏπππ±Weed did it! π±πππΏ
7 GoodGymers made their way to help the Mencap in Kingston upon Thames.
- Tuesday, 27th of July 2021
- Led by Mark Barun
We were in luck with the weather as we arrived at Searchlight to help tidy up the weeds at the front of the centre.
Armed with our favourite weeding butter knives Petra, Jassy, Elenor, Claire and Adam tackled the weeds in between the paving slabs while Marie-Noelle and Rachel battled with the giant weeds in the flower bed.
We had a extra challenge collecting gold confetti from a party and separating it out from the weeds for the compost.
The transformation in just over an hour was remarkable and the flower bed is now ready for some lavender which we look forward to seeing on our next visit.
Thanks to Michelle for hosting us.
