Jenny, Julian, Marta and Sam came together on a Sunday afternoon to assist Jaki and Oscar (the dog) with some weeding and litter picking.

They met at Cossall Hall to start with the first task of weeding the back courtyard as the hall needs to be presentable for when it comes to election time in under a month's time.

This task was quickly done in less than 20 minutes before they took a litter picker each and shared two bin liners as they started their collection of litter in Kirkwood Nature Reserve.

The reserve is known to have plenty of bottles of Lamberini, however, slightly disappointingly they only found 4. Yet, there was still plenty of other bottles and beer cans to pick up.

In the end, the team filled up three and a half bags worth of litter. Impressive in only a 30 minute walk around of the Nature Reserve.

The session was topped off by Marta's sponge cake which she baked earlier in the day 😋🍰

Great to be back helping out at Cossall Estate and Kirkwood Nature Reserve after many months away, but we will be back next month! 🙌
