I feel it on my fingers I feel it on my toes Rain is all around me And so the (lack of) feeling grows

The Dame Emily Park Project may have decided it was too wet for litter-picking but that wasn't going to sop GoodGym Bristol from a bit of chat, a bit of exercise, a bit of litter-picking and a lot of feel-good sogginess.

Opting for a harbour loop walk and litter-pick rather than a Queen Square scavenger hunt, we set off to show the best of Bristol to visiting Ivo and Adam.

Every scrap was being collected, mini fitness sessions were used to keep the group together (and warm) when Russ mentioned it was barely raining.

Ten minutes later we were holding a quick re-think meeting under the shelter of a rowing club (tempted to borrow a boat to wear as a big hat for all of us) and six GoodGymmers opted to run back, with or without litter-pickers whilst another four kept walking. The rain got heavier and heavier until it was impossible to see what was a puddle and what was huge quantities of surface water to wade through.

Huge smug points to everyone who made it out, I hope you're all well on the way to being in snugly pyjamas!
