Mr M was the first person to move into what was a new build, 30 years ago, and loves where he lives. He finds being on the first floor very quiet and peaceful. The only drawback is that he doesn't have access to a garden, which he misses.
He has been shielding since March and is really missing being able to jump in his car to pick up his weekly shop.
Having ridden uphill in heavy rain for the best part of 20 minutes, and scoured the estate to find Mr M's flat for a further 10 minutes, I could have done with a car to jump into...
When we finally met, I discovered that he was a Blue, like me, so we hit it off straight away 😉💙
The main objective on this shopping trip was to get to the cooked chickens, before they sold out, hence the early start. After another uphill ride and a quick whizz around the aisles, it was back to Mr M.
We had a chat about the current restrictions before deciding how we would manage the lockdown...and next season's team 😁
