20 runners get shown some British Military Fitness by new Sheffield trainer Stephen then eat cake!
It was a chilly and windy start to the evening and we know that winter is coming. We all know that winter comes from the north and it was brought by this week's leader, Stephen who is the new trainer for Sheffield. Our first northern GoodGym is opening on 31st October - spread the word!
We weren't chilly for long though as we went up to Clapham Common for a fitness session. Stephen used to run British Military Fitness and so he put us through the paces. We had to count to 10 whilst doing star jumps and other things that involved more coordination. We did running and press ups and running and squats. We worked with partners to push and pull them via resistance work and we did funny crab walks too. It was great fun and certainly good for body conditioning.
After a lovely warm down we jogged back to base, where Sarah had made some lime meringue pies - YUM!
