Jenny from York City Council met us at Acomb Green armed with a wheelbarrow full of tools. We set to work removing the grass that had grown over the edges of the path and steps to return it back to its original width. Some of us edged and some of us scraped whilst Pete and Leanne wheelbarrowed the bits of turf to be hidden under the hedges. With great teamwork we had the whole path finished in an hour, despite some last minute adjustments to a wonky section to tidy it up a bit. There was also a bonus visit from Lizzie and Digby dog!
