Report written by Coventry runner
Four GoodGym Coventry #winterwarriors headed over to Bedworth Parkrun on a wintery Saturday morning.
This was our second visit to Bedworth Parkrun after our visit earlier in the year for #supersaturday. Today we supported with filling the Parkrun volunteer roster and completed a quick litter pick of the Miner's Welfare Park.
When we arrived we got stuck into a variety of different roles. Laura was a marshal at the infamous Miner's Mount supporting and cheering runners as well as being armed with a litter picker! Allan whizzed around Parkrun to add another run on his quest to reach his 50 parkrun milestone and scanned runner barcodes afterwards. Liz was our superstar litter picker after her run filling up the binbags with lots of goodies. And Victoria brought up the rear as tail walker, a lovely opportunity to support runners to achieve their goals!
After a speedy litter pick of the remaining half of the park it was off to the cafe for a well-deserved cuppa!
Thank you to the Bedworth Parkrun team for making us feel so welcome again - hopefully we will be back very soon!
