Area Activator Simon caught up with 6 fellow Goodgym runners for our annual spooky run around Hampstead Heath. We ran together from The Bull and Gate, Kentish Town over towards Gospel Oak.
Started with a loop around the bathing ponds, and up towards the Kenwood House viewing point. We then followed the route back up to Spaniard's Inn. The sky was absolutely clear of clouds, and we had a beautiful spooky moon out! John and Alison did a fantastic job of running across semi-muddy trails in full costume.
We re-entered Hampstead Heath from the top west corner (near the Golder's Green extension), and enjoyed some long satisfying downhills before a climb up to Parliament Hill. A rollercoaster ride back to the Hampstead Heath tennis club house, and finishing back near the O2 Forum (among scarily dressed gig goers, lined up outside the venue). We completed our evening with a few refreshments, and a lovely cake made by Caitlin! Thanks for joining us- Happy Halloween to all!
