Eight GoodGym gods nipped over to Abbey Gardens on a wet Wednesday eve. We left without a Random Weekly Question as I hadn't concocted a worthy ice-breaker, but all was forgotten on route as we learned that Si is recently engaged, massive congrats!! We brushed over how feminism looks in film, proposals and weddings, then arrived at the gardens.
Xuan arrived smoothly on two wheels and set a seed sowing team and compost shifting team to work. The seed sowers found a nice rhythm, occasionally punctuated by a shrill arachnid induced shriek . The muscular movers of compost stoically hustle under the wet sky, filling a couple of beds in the making.
Lovely midweek session with you all, and post session drink setting the world to rights.
That marks the second Abbey Gardens in a fortnight, next few weeks we have some variety lined up, with Alma Garden next week, then The Up Garden and after that a new task at a church garden, which I'll list later today.
Having a decent week all, till next time
