Elliott Lack run a race with GoodGym for the first time.
Elliott has done their first race with GoodGym. Performing on the day is a lot of pressure; Elliott's dealt with the nerves and turned up on the day to make it happen.

Windsor and Maidenhead Report written by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
It was a cracking day for the Maidenhead Easter 10 mile run and every bunny was egg-cited to start. The runners were all ears at the start waiting for the gun to go off and thankfully no one got scrambled on the loops around Maidenhead business park before hitting the trails.
Sophie Lack provided egg-stremely good support with banners and posters and chick her out... she even managed to capture a photo with the former PM Theresa May!
Elliot and Juli showed off their eggs-pert running skills with some crackingly good times and Juli managed to beat her former PB by over a minute; that was egg-straspecial!
Joseph Acland from Slough was hopping to do 1 hour 15 minutes but smashed his target achieving an egg-credible 1 hour 6 minutes.
Georgetta had an egg-citing day with her first race of this distance and she should be absolutely egg-static with her performance. Chick her out!
Tara and Paul were feeling clucky as they raced around the course and it's no yolk that Alain, Jeremy and Michelle did egg-mazingly well too.
Everyone was egg-hausted by the end and shell never forget the experience. Here's hopping there will be even more GoodGymers at the next one.
That's all yolks....

The paths in All Saints Churchyard have become completely overgrown and hidden from view under a carpet of grass. This was our third visit to try to regain the path definition. After Roger had opened up the shed, we selected the best tools and set to work removing the grass and weeds. The early morning's rain had softened the ground, but luckily stayed away for our session despite the forecast. Having five GoodGymers on the job was brilliant; we more than surpassed the target I had set for ourselves, and with 15 mins to go, we upped the tempo, determined to reach the point where the path forked. Target reached! We had collected several barrowloads of moss and grass which were deposited onto the compost heap. Well done to Anita, Elliott, Juli, Sheila and Steve for making such a difference and for being such good company

A glorious morning for a run along the Jubilee and Thames rivers. Juli, Gemma and Elliott met by Bray Lake for a run which was intended to be 13 km, but ended up slightly longer, at 15 km, due to a tiny navigation error. But all good training for our upcoming 10 mile and half-marathon races! Fortuitously, the Thames Hospice cafe was very near to the end of our loop, so we could enjoy some well-deserved coffee and cake afterwards.

What a gloriously sunny yet frosty morning to kick off the GoodGym Windsor and Maidenhead 2nd birthday celebrations!
A host of GoodGymmers both running and volunteering made it out of bed for 9am for a timed 5km run with our friends at Maidenhead parkrun.
We saw a number of PBs, buggy swapping, turbo canine assistance and warm up runs for 12km cross country races taking place later in the day!
A big thank you to all volunteers for making these weekly events possible.
Well done to Kanika who smashed her previous parkrun PB by more than 2 minutes, Diya for a parkrun PB, Sophie for her first sub 30 parkrun, Elliott for a buggy PB and James for a super speedy run, only 2 seconds off his parkrun PB!
Well done to Dean and Sheila for expert barcode scanning and Rich for first timers briefing, and Ros for being this week's run director!
We can't wait for more celebrations this evening...!

A feather in the cap for all the eagle-eyed observers who took part in this community mission, logging their observations for the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch. As well as a wide geographical wingspan (eleven different GoodGym regions including herring gull, oops, sorry, Haringey), we covered a broad age range; first in the pecking order was Suzanne’s newly-hatched 18-month-old daughter who helped her out on the mission. Hannah’s children also helped her to take part.
The birds were tweeted to a feast of delights including sunflower seeds, sunflower hearts, nyjer seeds, suet, unsuspecting worms nestling by the compost bin, and buggy nibbles (no Veganuary in birdland). Tessa’s home-made apple bird-feeder was commandeered by an acrobatic squirrel.
Some of the more exotic birds on our lists included a great spotted woodpecker in Georgeta’s garden, a female blackcap in Sheila’s, a red kite in Jen’s and a buzzard in Ben’s. Jacqui and Sally travelled to Hampstead Heath for their session, where the parakeets were out in force! They ran beforehand and enjoyed drinks afterwards, though not a flight of sherry.
It was great to hear that so many of you were already keen birders. Interestingly, a few of us shared the frustrating experience that several of our “regulars” were mysteriously absent for the hour we were participating in the birdwatch, but here’s hoping that they will be back with us soon. (Shame there wasn’t some sort of get-out claws allowing them to be recorded.) Gwyn and I had just returned from volunteering at junior parkrun at an RSPB reserve before taking part in this community mission – perhaps we should have done our bird-spotting there, beakause there were few takers in his usually-popular garden.
Congratulations to Suzanne who was taking part in her very first GoodGym session today. Welcome to the flock.
If there are any stragglers who've not yet submitted photos, it's not too late for me to add them; just email them to tracey@traceycool.plus.com

Hi Tracey, sorry for the late response. I have a pic to add, but cannot see your email anymore as it just shows the draft report and not the initial details. Please can you repost so I can send? Many thanks :)
