The Leeds gang had a great night at Bedford Fields yesterday.
We ran up via the ridge & did some leafleting (see the separate report) & then headed to Bedford Fields to clear a path of lots of sticks and brambles, while another group cleared the public path. A few of us managed a break to play on the swing which is hidden at the top of the garden (it's not all hard work).
Super Helen had to her wear her cape & mask to celebrate a whopping 202 good deeds...what a hero!! Well done Helen!
Jubz then took a group to the pub to see Man United get beat... while the rest of us took a slow run back to Heart.
Welcome to Rachel & Clarice, we hope to see you again soon.

Leeds Report written by Leeds runner
Five GoodGymers made their way down to their second social of the year, one that was suggested by Alice, inspired by Christian.
We all took turns being great (Laura's three strikes in a row?!) and not so great (Jubz). We sadly did haven't Chloe with us today but we all took turns being Chloe with mixed performances but "Chloe" came third! Some brain freezing from the slushies and funky shots later, it was time to tot up the points
Well done to consistent Alice who came in top place with a 141, this would have placed her in third place on the leaderboard for the venue for the day but sadly the screen only refreshed once every 45 minutes and it was home time

On a sunny and spring like Saturday morning, Sarah and I went down to Barley Hill Park to help the Incredible Edible team in Garforth.
They were dismantling a raised bed, so it was our job to fill wheel barrows full of soil and to wheel them to the other side of the park and tip the soil into other beds. It was a great workout as the wheelbarrows were very heavy! It was great to network with the other volunteers and we hope to help the team out more in future.

Sarah Hodgson (She/her) earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Sarah completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Sarah was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
