A chilly morning greeted the GG crew. It's that leafy time of Year and racks were at the ready. With our 2 cow friends daisy and Haze mooing their support we went into rake mode, clearing a large path area in no time. We finished with a nice shot of us and the cows posteriors as they were camera shy. Seen it all before! Such divas. We then trotted off. Great job 👏

The sparks were flying high at Hannah More Primary School’s annual bonfire celebration on a warm evening with hundreds of pupils and their families enjoying the crafts, food, sparklers and the bonfire itself.
Butterflies were crafted with Helen, Jason and Freya helped get the hoot food to where it needed to be and Dave and Melanie stood guard at the bonfire having topped up the wood pile (and reserved some handy bits for Melanie’s DIY projects).
Lots of fun was had, top marks all round!

Warm and dull, just how we like our autumn mornings when we’re working in the Cemetery!
Tidying up a path junction and the bramble/buttercup/bindweed bound flower bed, a dumpy sack was soon filled with fewer weeds clinging on where they shouldn’t be and lots of chat had been had.

3 GoodGymers met on a grey Sunday afternoon to help get the B&B ready for guests tomorrow (Monday). First me to you task was for Dave and Jason to move two dryers into another room, we carried out successfully in 5 minutes without any tumbles! Then it was on to touching up paintwork in all the bedrooms and hallway with Melanie leading the way.
We look forward to meeting the guests in future and encouraging them to join in some GoodGym Bristol fun.

It was the end-of-year party at the Dame Emily Park Project which meant some litter picking and weeding before enjoying the live music, mulled apple juice and fire-warmed sausages whilst checking out the pond’s amazing fence, HUGE bug hotel development and general loveliness.

It was good to see Ms C again who needed some help to put some membrane down in her back yard as it gets very muddy and slippery when it’s wet, making it unsafe for her to use.
Unfortunately my mission buddy, Aline, was unable to make it due to illness in the family, but luckily Ms C’s daughter was on hand to help with placement and cutting of the rolls of membrane.
We managed to get most of it pegged down, but ran out of pegs, so agreed on a short term solution of some carefully placed bricks to hold the new garden blankets down until Ms C has bought some more pegs and we can return to finish the task. 👍
