We exist for people who need our support, a safe place or other forms of aid during turbulent times in their lives. We support people escaping conflict or dealing with overwhelming emergencies (domestic or international) and local community groups and other charities in South West London. We promote food-waste reduction, diverting Supermarket/shop food surplus to help provide relief to people suffering financial hardship. Provide a reliable and sustainable supply of quality food that meets all food standards to those who need it most.
Provide relief and assistance to NHS frontline workers should the need arise in the future.
13 GoodGymers have supported Critical Support with 3 tasks.

Tonight, the team faced a colossal challenge at Critical Support: as we split into two groups, diving into the chaos. Crate by crate, transforming the overwhelming sprawl into organised piles - first completing the fresh food deliveries, followed by large stacks of clothes, shoes, homeware, and more.
Then came the heavy lifting as we hauled full crates upstairs and carefully tackled a quick round of repacking. This was crucial for maximising the space and ensuring the crates could be safely stacked.
With a final push and an "all hands on crates" effort, the job was done!
The warehouse was almost spotless and impressively organised - far exceeding what most of us thought possible in the time available. A huge welcome to Tori on a fantastic first task! Well done, everyone; the teamwork was absolutely amazing. We were truly "crate"!

Six GoodGymers descended on Critical Support after hours for our latest group mission. Some cycled down the River Wandle and others walked and it was a lovely evening for it too.
While The Felix Project's multi-bank delivery wasn't quite as large as anticipated, we quickly adapted our plans! We got stuck into a fantastic variety of tasks: meticulously moving a large batch of fruit bowls and toothpaste, expertly flattening a mountain of cardboard boxes, and giving the shelves and floor a thorough, sparkling clean. It was the perfect opportunity to flex our muscles and keep busy, leaving the hub immaculate.

This lunchtime (literally in our lunch breaks), Caroline, Clare and Jade stopped by to lend a hand to the fantastic Critical Support warehouse! We soon got stuck into packing a fresh bread delivery, ensuring vital supplies were ready for those in need.
It was a brilliant opportunity to look around their facilities and learn so much more about the incredible work this charity does for our community. We also managed to scope out a potential future group session, where we can bring even more GoodGymers to help with a larger delivery.
A truly insightful and rewarding session and we're excited about future collaborations!
