Peabody Blackfriars Estate community garden renewal
Clearing soil from removed raised beds so Mulalley can build a new community garden on our estate
This community garden was originally built up on a playground space with generous support from another business, however it fell into disrepair and was flagged for renewal. After a lengthy process of consultation with residents and generous support gathered from Mulalley, PRP Architects, Advanced Building, Penningtons Manches Cooper, Reed Talent Solutions and Atkins Realis, we've come a long way and are almost ready for the ambitious rebuild. To get over the hurdle, we need a team of maximum 12 (based on equipment available) to come and clear remaining soil so works can begin - this would be shovelled into rubble sacks in wheelbarrows, which would then be used to move the soil about 500 metres to the front of the estate where a waste hauling partner can pick it up for us.
