It's bin a long afternoon

Thursday 22nd May

Written by Bec

Lawlessness still rules in York as Mikael and Bec, still leaderless, whizzed through the afternoon tasks tidying up at the brilliant Planet Food. Nothing is wasted at Southlands; delicious meals consumed, excess groceries distributed and the small task of tidying up afterwards achieved. It's always a pleasure to see the Planet Food team crack on, and the local people enjoying their lunch and their chats.

Mikael's fave tasks? Sorting the bins! 3:2:1, here he is with his mate Dusty.

Chaos & Anarchy rules at Planet Food

Thursday 15th May

Written by Bec

No leader, not a GG t-shirt in sight and for half the session no cloth! Clearing up after planet food

Thursday 3rd April

Written by York runner

It was just Michael and I this week and some of the tables and chairs needed to go in different places due to Open Studios. Michael therefore took charge of making sure everything ended up in the right place and we got on with wiping down and folding up the tables and shifting everything to where it should be. After that, there was just sweeping the hall and hoovering the rooms, which we made fairly short work of.

Michael did a great job of ensuring I couldn't leave without a pannier stuffed full of leftovers, but I did manage to decline the offer of a massage.
