Runners and Walkers assembled for this evening's mission, talking about all of the exciting things we might sort out today.
The experienced amongst us passing on our wisdom about never picking a tent up as they're too much of a pole-aver (thanks Emma for the pun).
The runners voted 4-0 for the most direct route given the conditions and on arrival were greeted by welcoming staff, with welcoming drinks and biscuits!
Instead of the usual piles of assorted items, the plan was... tents!
The walkers soon joined us and tents, large and small, were pitched, examined and put away, despite every tent bag shrinking which made it trickier to put them back in again!
Ousmane was the star tent-packer-upper, taking only between 1-3 tries to get it in the bag with an occasional roly-poly from Vaguely Northern Darren to flatten the larger tents!
Once finished we headed back to Workout for the good deed debrief and decided that maybe tent-checking is not as bad as we thought.

I like to move it, move it, do you like to move it?
Well, that was one of the tasks this evening at the Library of Things as some units needed moving with great dexterity and poise.
The other task was to assemble some shelving units. One team decided to freestyle it building the larger shelving unit whilst the other studiously (not really) decided to follow the instruction to the letter to build some smaller units. Some judicious use of the mallet (not a hammer!) and not at all imprisoning some people in the units (ahem) meant that the job was done quickly and efficiently. Not convinced each shelf can take 250kg and we sensibly decided not to test this. Another job well done!
Until next time…

Eight GoodGymmers headed (6 running, 2 walking) to the Library of Things to help tidy and clean the space as well as sort and log a range of items for future lending. Welcome again to Molly on her second GoodGym Bristol run, and Caroline T 'visiting' from Sheffield GoodGym.
Short work was made of cleaning the shutters, mopping the floor, dusting and loading up surplus/faulty donations for disposal.
There was also a tent. Despite being on tenterhooks as to whether we'd complete this last item, everyone pitched in and after an inten(t)se last few minutes the tent was checked and logged.
It's past-ten(t)se now, but the run home went well.
