Naoise Brooke earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Naoise completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Naoise was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

This evening we headed to Headington to distribute flyers for our upcoming litterpick in Magdalen Wood.
We strolled through the main thoroughfare of fair Headington, posting flyers, flashing our GG t shirts, eating cannoli and stocking up on a few bits from Waitrose........

A bit of rain never stopped us! For tonight's training session, three GoodGymers headed down the river for an evening walk, while the rest of us made our way on to Roger Bannister Track. During the workout, we managed to dodge a lane of hurdles on one side and scores of student sprinters on the other as we completed a ladder workout - first increasing our sprinting (and recovery!) distances with every round, then decreasing on the way back down.
The walkers, meanwhile, journeyed down to Iffley Lock on the River Thames, befriending a cat along the way.
Both the sprinters and the walkers covered nearly 5k - well done everyone! I hope you've managed to dry off and warm up.
Welcome to GoodGym, Naoise! Thanks for braving the weather for your first session - hope to see you again soon.
