Tonight was all about Alina, who was completing her 100th deed with GoodGym, what an achievement! Congratulations Alina.
The task tonight was our first ever visit to Magdalen Medical Practice, to give their garden a good clear over.
As you can see from the photos, the team of GoodGymers had to work had and did a grand job.

On a bright evening, five runners met at the Forum and ran the two miles to Dell Rose Court old peoples home. Once we arrived, we started chatting to a couple of residents. Although the Easter quiz sheets were put out, it was decided that the residents weren’t quite feeling in the mood for the Easter quiz so instead we set about the gardening tasks in the enclosed courtyard. We spent the session watering the plants, doing some weeding and generally tidying and sprucing up the area for the residents to enjoy. After a short while more residents popped down and Maddy and Woody spent the remainder of the time in conversation with the residents making it a positive evening. Woody was especially helpful lending some DIY expertise in fixing a bird feeder. We left Dell Rose feeling that the evening was successful and that next time maybe we would get to do the quiz!!! A good run back in good spirits to the Forum was then had.

387 people run/walk/jogging their way around Catton Park on a glorious, sunny morning. Bobby & I together at the Church Street Lap 1 & lap2 turn. It’s quite a difficult marshal point sometimes as you have to make sure the front runners especially turn right on lap 1 then left for lap 2 but we managed! Rachel, Brad, Emily & Alina were Goodgymers running today.

We visited Mousehold Heath again. A new task this time (before the Bracken pulling commences in the summer), which was pulling up self-seeded Birch trees amongst areas of the heath where they don't want then to be growing.
It sounds crazy but we must have pulled out well over 100 of them! They have been temporarily been replanted in another area of the heath before they find new homes.
