A mighty fine show of top notch folk yesterday. We booted off proceedings with a hilarious Random Weekly Question, courtesy of Graham, hair it is : "Who are you told that you look like?" Kevin Costner, Gwneth Paltrow, Evan Davies, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Hanson (brothers), Gillian Anderson, Gareth Gates, Scott Parker, Sharapova. Woof -we're obviously a bloody gorgeous running ensemble.
Off to school we went, floating down the canal with a pleasant tail wind. Andy set the work on arrival. Removing large wooden beams from the planters, jetwashing outside, watering the plants, shifting a large composter-come-tombola and shifting a gazillion plastic plant pots. Now i write it down, that's a fair old chunk of work. Thank you one and all for chipping in. We're prepping the school for the demolition of the old nursery, to be replaced by a newer, bigger and better one.
I'm currently closing in on Taunton, on route to the west country. The Cornish Riviera awaits. I'll keep it brief. Hope you all have a corking week and an even better weekend.
Sign up here for next week's midweek banger ie Cody Dock. The fun just don't stop.
See you beauts in 6 days

That was a bit of a corker last night. Clean instructions, visually rewarding task, healthy numbers, optimum weather, new faces, funky core work and some delightful dusk hues.
We started with a little catch up and grilled Tim on his epic european adventure by bike. He's probably answered all these questions umpteen times since his return. But... we still wanted to know the gossip. Best place, worst place, least enjoyable meal and what battery device did you use to ensure a constant facebook feed...we got the bullet points. Bravo T, what a journey, but great to have you back with a rugged beard. Gggrrr (Sorry). Random Weekly Question "favourite guilty pleasure TV show?" Some expressed no guilt over their viewing trivia, others had no tv's...there was a real variation in answers. From a show about pimple popping, to dressing up in drag...and all the other stuff in between. Back in my day we'd read Chaucer books under flickering weak candle light, then eat a raw potato for dinner. Times are changing.
We danced through The Olympic Park to the adventure playground, where we found Dan already grafting away diligently. Grafter. We were directed to dig a path, do some weeding then lay some wood chip, you'll wasted no time. Using forks, shovels and spades you got the path dug up quickly and neatly. A quick rush to get some wood chip down on said path and we were done in no time. I even got a nice little before and after picture.
Our GoodGym tourist Chi put us all through a testing 3min ab workout, which was actually about 7mins. But who's counting? It was engaging, flowing and tough - nice work big man. We'd love to have you back, i'm not not even still upset that we were your third last GoodGym to visit!
Next week we get stuck in at Cody Dock - a 2mile run there and then the same back. Sign up here Let's enjoy the rest of this heat wave, because we'll be huddled up under a tarp in 6 months time bemoaning the winter.
See you fine specimens next week
