Sylvia Chan has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Sylvia is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.
Sylvia Chan earned their community cape by completing their first community mission. 🥳

Sylvia Chan earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Sylvia completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Sylvia was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

As GoodGym taskforce Sylvia and I met at the BDH reception for introductions as this was our first meeting together. We then met with Sami, Volunteer Coordinator, from BDH who were kind enough to give us a facility tour and explained us what and how they do it. Once she got through out endless questions we sat down and have a lengthy chat to discuss how best we as GoodGymers can help BDH. Until we have a solid plan we have agreed to set up another task for the next week or the one after for sorting out donations.

It's a great start! We followed up the conversation and get to understand their needs and what we can do to make a difference to the organisation.

Dogs are great way of seeing the life in more positive way all together. Each time a dog got adopted not only the life of the very dog forever change but also the family who adopted the dog moves into a better life - mentally in particular.
