10 goodgymers out tonight, ready to restore harmony at a children's hub in Hillfields.
Unfortunately the outdoor space currently seems to be used as a dumping ground but with GoodGym's help it can be transformed! I'm calling this project Harmony Haven and to kick things off we had to clear the lot. Everyone pitched in to clear the broken items and remove the mess including leaves, twigs and litter. We gathered it all in one spot ready for next weeks skip.
We raked, picked up litter and swept our way to uncover a clear pathway and patio which will look great after a good jet wash. Great prep ready for us to return next week to to work some more magic! On our way home we had time for m a quick hill sprint fitness session, so an excellent all round work out this eve.
Brilliant effort everyone! Hope to see you all again next week.
The family hub model is an approach to the delivery of early help services centralised around a building, where a number of different services providing information and support to families, children and young people are based. They will provide early help and support for families, children and young people aged 0 – 19 years up to age 24 where a young person has a disability.
