4 goodgymers forwent their park run rituals to help Make Space for Girls at Homestead Park on an already very warm Saturday morning! After erecting 2 big pop up gazebos we turned to the more challenging tasks on untangling bunting, piecing together a non pop up gazebo with run away pins and the biggest challenge of all - figuring out where to put the car parking signs! we left as stall holders and activity leaders began to arrive - setting up for woodland crafts, inspirational sign making, cheerleading, basketball and more!

Homestead Park Community Garden
a small group of volunteer inexperienced gardeners hoping to grow veg and flowers - early days in a long-term project

We have to cut and lift turf on the plot before we can even get started with growing anything! We would appreciate help with this work for at least a couple of hours (possible dates to start are 16 & 20 July)
